Festival of Stuff: Afternoon - Screen Printing Masterclass

Join artist and printmaker, Ella West, for a screen printing Masterclass. Our workshop will begin with an introduction to the screen-printing process, using blank screens and hand-cut stencils to create graphic designs onto paper, with the option of printing onto fabric if you would like to breathe a new lease of life into an old tote bag. Ella will demonstrate how to experiment with inks and water-soluble pencils to create unique additions to your prints. This two-hour workshop aims to be a fun starter session into the possibilities of printmaking. By the end of the session, participants will have printed colourful designs to take away.

Ella West is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator with a deep curiosity for learning about printmaking, mould-making and ceramics, with an emphasis on experimental screen-printing techniques.

This masterclass is suitable for ages 18+, aside from that, no experience or skill necessary, all welcome!

Important information about our ticket ballot for this event:

• We are using a ballot system for ticket booking for our Festival of Stuff masterclasses.
• Entering the ballot means that you've entered into a draw for the opportunity to book a ticket to a masterclass. From Tuesday 9th May onwards, successful entrants will be sent a booking link, which must be completed within 24 hours to secure a ticket.
• Unfortunately, the ballot may be oversubscribed, so entering it doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be offered tickets.
• The ballot is open for a limited time: from 5:00am on Friday 5th May until 23:59pm on Monday 8th May.
• Once tickets are fully booked, we will notify everyone and offer the opportunity to join the waiting list.
