Stone: Walking Tour 1

Meeting point: The Shed in the King's Building
Two walking tours of The Strand will be led by stone expert, John Williams of the Natural History Museum.
The first tour (11am) will set off west to Embankment station and will look at natural stone in the built environment, ranging from ancient to modern use with stone ranging from Precambrian to Jurassic in age.
Participants are advised to arrive in good time.
