The Festival of Materials & Making - Kings College London
Monday 07 November 11 - Friday 11 November 11
The Institute of Making proudly presents…the Festival of Materials & Making – a celebration of the multi-disciplinary work being done at King’s College London around materials. Running the 7th to 11th November, the festival will invade spaces across King’s campuses and showcase the extensive work being done by experts across a number of King's departments, ranging from War Studies and Physics to Classics and Life Sciences. Don’t miss the slew of activities, which will include artist interventions in public spaces, tours, demonstrations, talks, exhibitions and overall serendipitous encounters with all things related to materials and making. All events and activities are free, but some will require booking.
For a full schedule of events, roam these pages and check back often as details are added.
The Festival of Materials & Making is part of an EPSRC-funded initiative aimed at bridging the gaps between the internal communities of King’s College London through the topic of materials.
