Public Programme: Repair Week

Monday 11 October 21 - Friday 15 October 21

Repair Week runs from Monday 11th to Friday 15th October, in the run up to International Repair Day. Our week of masterclasses, consultations and talks takes a creative look at the ways in which we mend and maintain our stuff, celebrating the repair techniques of expert makers and legitimising the world of playful and experimental repair.

The week takes in a multitude of activity, including woodwork, heritage conservation, old toothbrush needles, smartphone fixing, the Right to Repair, preventative maintenance and a Spa Day for Hammers. The programme is inspired by our director Mark's Dare to Repair series on BBC Radio 4 and the creation of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Circular Metals.

The full schedule of activity is published mid-September, be the first to hear by signing up to our mailing list here

Our Repair Week programme is free an open to all. Booking is required for all of the events.
